How would you fix this?
![]() 01/28/2015 at 09:37 |

shop vac, then space heater.

With a shovel.
Get it all out before it melts.

Hit it with a hammer, same way I fix everything.

This.

I'd use a shop vac to get it out ASAP prior to it melting.

Use the salt from my tears to melt it all away.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 09:44 |

leaf blower for bulk of it, towels and lots of dessicant once the bulk is removed.

and possible car's heater on high to get anything that fell in the vents

Damn. Leafblower or shop vac as was already mentioned. That's a mess.

Find a drug dealer, tell him take all the cocaine he wants.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 09:48 |

Leave it outside, get a leaf blower and just blow that shit out. The shopvac in reverse to blow it out would work too.
Dang, someone beat me to it :-/

Keep it outside and cold until you've blown out the majority and then brushed out or vacuumed the rest. You don't want that to melt and get into the electronics, or ruin fabric. Don't start the car at all until you've been able to get out as much snow as possible.

Give up and hope the temperature never goes above freezing.

A dehumidifier probably wouldn't hurt, either.

Is that yours? I think running a dehumidifier is a great idea once the majority of the snow is cleared out. Definitely don't want it melting into electronics.
Then sell the car.

It is not mine. Just found the picture and I was like "Fuck... how do you even fix that?"

Cool, then step 2 to fixing any problem is to take care of the root cause so it doesn't come back. Whoever did this needs to move to a dry, southern place that doesn't see much precipitation. Holy crap what a dumb move!

get rid of as much as possible before starting.

I would close the window. Before it snowed.

You could shovel most of it out, then unhook the battery and leave a space heater and a dehumidifier in there for a while.
![]() 01/28/2015 at 15:44 |

Shovel out what you can, then leafblower, then shop vac in the crevices. When its cleaned out, leave it in a garage with the doors open and space heaters blasting and give it a full detailing.
Then go to CarMax and take whatever they offer you without argument.

1. Remove doors
2. Don parka and other various cold weather gear
3. Hoon car with heater off
4. Hope most of snow blows out
5. Reinstall doors
6. Melt snow with heaters
7. Sell car on Craigslist with "recently detailed" in ad.
8. Possibly profit and/or make interesting friends
